Bagh, a recent project celebrating the rich Indian textile pattern, was featured in Retail Design Blog.
Aptly named after the ornate textile pattern from Madhya Pradesh, ‘Bagh’ brand offers Indian apparel range with motifs which are deeply rooted in Indian crafts. Designed by FRDC in collaboration with StoryStudio, the newly opened flagship outlet’s design language intends to speak the story of the craft. Located on a busy street in Bangalore, the charming facade represents a progressive contemporary look with natural concrete finish while patina finished wooden louvers resonates with the brand’s origins. The overall ambience mimics a silent space where one can focus on intricacy of the craft techniques and explore styles gradually meandering between zones. Natural & local materials have been used that celebrate Indian craftsmanship.
